Melissa is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in grief, trauma, and international humanitarian mental health needs. Her research interests include mental health and climate change and psychological resilience in vulnerable populations. Melissa earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She currently works for The KonTerra Group and maintains a private therapy practice.
