
Emily Melnick is a PhD Candidate in Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver. Emily’s research broadly focuses on maternal and child health, with a specific interest in exploring sources of resiliency among populations who experiences disproportionate risk for poor health outcomes. In her work, Emily seeks to understand and improve maternal and child health through a number of methodological approaches including quantitative methods, qualitative methods, community-based participatory research, and behavioral economics. Emily holds a BS in Kinesiology and Psychology from The College of William and Mary and an MPH in Public Health Nutrition from The Colorado School of Public Health.
