News and Announcements - PBHL Newsletter November 28, 2022
Hi my name is Lasata Ranjitkar, I’m a third year student here at CU Denver. I’m currently majoring in Public Health as well as Psychology. I’m also the co-president of the Public Health Club. Since the course of the pandemic, the club has taken a hit - at this time I’m helping revitalize the club and bring it back to its full force. The Public Health Club happens to be a great way to connect with peers and to explore the different paths public health can take you. Although I ended up declaring Public Health as a major a semester ago, my intrest in it has only grown. I’ve been keen about environmental health and the effects it has on the public, in addition to the different factors that can affect a person’s health.
Our department advisors are here to help you navigate registration for PBHL classes or any other questions you might have about completing your PBHL undergraduate degree. Monica and Ashlyn are available for both in-person drop in and Zoom meetings by appointment. Alternatively, you can email questions to advisors at PBHLAdvisors@ucdenver.edu. In all communication with advisors, please include your name, student ID, and question.
