News and Announcements - PBHL Newsletter August 14, 2020

Welcome to Fall 2020!

syeatman

A word from the chair...

Welcome to the Fall 2020 semester!

This is the first for the year in a regular email newsletter we send to public health majors, minors, and friends to communicate about upcoming events, campus resources, and the Public Health program. We aim to keep the emails short and relevant. Check your inbox every other week for updates from the program.

As we begin the semester, please take a minute to look over the resources available to you at CU Denver both on campus and remotely in Fall 2020. There is also a helpful checklist to make sure you are ready for classes next week.

Have a great weekend,

Dr. Sara Yeatman

Chair, Department of Health and Behavioral Sciences

Safe Return to Campus for Fall 2020

Safe Return to Campus Guidelines

As we are near the start of the Fall 2020 semester, please take a minute to familiarize yourself with the Safe Return to Campus plan that all students, faculty, and staff at CU Denver will be following any time we need to visit campus. Beginning August 17th, students will be authorized to be on campus. Before you go back to campus, you will need to do the following:

One-time: You must take the one-time SkillSoft training “CU: COVID-19 Return to Campus - CU Denver | Anschutz” before returning to campus for the first time. Once you have finished the training, take a screenshot of the certificate of completion on your mobile device. You may be asked to show this at a health check-in station.

Daily: Every day before coming to campus, you should take your own temperature and then complete a daily health attestation. You will receive a completion confirmation email, which you should be prepared to show at a health check-in station.

Health check-in station locations and hours are listed below. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes to check in.

While on campus: Visibly wear your CU Denver ID badge. Follow all safety protocols below, including wearing a face covering at all times, indoors and outdoors.
