Please join us in congratulating Dr. Marisa Westbrook successfully defending her dissertation "Rising Pressure: An Ethnographic Study of Housing and Health Amidst Overlapping Crises". Congratulations Dr. Westbrook and all the best for the future beyond HBS!

Becky has successfully defended her prospectus "Factors Affecting Person-Centered Care During the Provision of Complex Rehabilitation Technologies: An Ethnographic Study". Great job, Becky and congratulations!

Monica successfully defended her prospectus "Effects of Anti-Immigrant Rhetoric on Stress: An Experimental Study Among University Students". Fantastic work, Monica and congratulations!

Dr. Charlotte Farewell (HBS PhD 2019) received a prestigious K01 career development award from the NIH: National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities for her project entitled: "Mothers Optimizing Resources Everyday (MORE): Buffering mental health inequities in low-resourced perinatal populations."  The project’s primary research objective is to integrate advanced analytical modeling with qualitative data to inform the timing, duration, content and delivery modalities of a multi-level capital-building intervention to promote perinatal well-being among low-resourced groups.  Dr. Farewell is Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Behavioral Health and Director of the MPH in Population Mental Health & Wellbeing (PMHW) Program at the Colorado School of Public Health.
