Provides a basic understanding of the methods used to study the effects on human health of exposures to physical, chemical, or biological factors in the external environment. The course explains the use of epidemiologic methods through a problem solving approach to investigating environmental health case studies. Note: this course assumes that students have completed a basic statistics course.
