Confluence

About the Journal

Confluence is the Geography and Environmental Science Department's student-run journal, dedicated to celebrating the outstanding scholarship and creativity of our undergraduate and graduate students. Each year, GES students produce extraordinary work - projects that inspire new ways of thinking about people, place, and the envionment. Confluence provides a space for these ideas to be shared, recognized, and remembered.

Run entirely by students, the journal offers a chance to experience the peer-review and publication process firsthand while showcasing exceptional projects in an engaging online format. From research papers and essays to story maps, videos, and other multimedia creations, Confluence highlights the diverse voices and talents that make our GES community so vibrant.

Whether you're here to read, contribute, or simply explore, Confluence invites you to discover the remarkable work of our student scholars.
