“Be a Scientist Day,” a new initiative from the CU Denver Society of Physics Students chapter has been selected as a 2016-17 Future Faces of Physics Award winner. The Future Faces of Physics Award is aimed at supporting projects designed to promote physics across cultures, and is designed to promote the recruitment and retention of people from groups historically underrepresented in physics.
