Highlighting the achievements of National History Day in Colorado (NHDC), administered in the History Department, the fall Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists (SRMA) newsletter will educate members about the 24,000 students across the state who participate in NHDC each year. The fall issue also highlights NHDC teacher workshop trainings, research field trips, supply grants for project supplies, classroom resources, scholarship opportunities for students, and graduate and continuing professional education courses for teachers. The SRMA is a non-profit member-oriented professional organization, designed to support, promote and educate on issues related to the acquisition and preservation of the evolving historical record and promotion of access to records for present and future generations.
