Colorado River Basin Symposium on Sustainable Energy, Environment, and Urban Development, Abstracts due February 7

The Colorado River Basin Symposium on Sustainable Energy, Environment, and Urban Development (CRB-SEED) will take place on March 14-15 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

This HSRU (Hispanic Serving Research University) -related symposium is a great opportunity for our undergrads, grads, and postdocs. The deadline for abstracts has been extended to Feb. 7.  

The Colorado River Basin Symposium on Sustainable Energy, Environment, and Urban Development CRB SEED aims to bring STEM researchers from eight Hispanic Serving Research Universities and four more Hispanic Serving Institutions to exchange ideas and encourage new perspectives on Sustainable Energy, Environment, and Urban Development in the Colorado River Basin region while fostering collaboration among HSIs.

  • Sustainable housing and infrastructure

Funding from CU Denver is available for travel. UNLV will provide lodging and food. Those interested should apply for funds via this link and if you are part of a team, list the entire team.

Students and post-doc participants are expected to submit a one-page abstract. All participants need to fill out the registration form by Feb. 19. The symposium website and program highlights can be found here.
