A Needs & Network-Based DEI Approach to Faculty Mentoring

This in-person thinkshop will introduce participants to a needs and network-based approach for faculty mentoring with an emphasis on equity, diversity, and inclusion. Participants will learn how to utilize a needs and network mapping tool from the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD). Participants will learn concepts and actively engage in mental mapping exercises that empower faculty to reflect on and identify their individual needs and avenues to achieve and meet those needs. Refreshments, snacks and lunch will be provided.
