The annual Western States Chemical Education Conference was hosted April 22-23 by Priscilla Burrow and Damian Dunford, faculty in the Chemistry department. Students and faculty from 14 different colleges and universities participated in workshops, panel discussions, roundtables, and a poster session. Attendees discussed topics such as student motivation, ways to increase student retention through equity and inclusive practices, post COVID-era challenges, and more.
