The CLAS Staff Development Fund was allocated by Dean Jansma to aid staff in furthering their skills and career goals. CLAS staff may request up to $500 per-person in funding for conferences, events, trainings, or other activities that will further their professional goals and job skills. All current CLAS staff are eligible to apply. To apply for funds, please submit the application posted on the CLAS Staff Council website. You will be asked to provide details about the event, including a breakdown of anticipated costs, and to explain how the event would support your individual professional development. Applications for the 2021-2022 academic year will be accepted through April 30th or until all professional development funds have been awarded. Awards will be granted as applications are received and until all available professional development funds have been dispersed. All awarded funds must be spent prior to the fiscal year end deadlines.
