“As new grief comes, they’re often feeling overwhelmed, unable to fully respond emotionally because they’re so exhausted,” said Amy Wachholtz, Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Health Psychology PhD. “Even to the point where I’ve heard from some patients, ‘I feel like I should cry but I don’t have anything left.’”
