Recent Alum Olivia Fambrini Encourages Faculty to Utilize the Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau

Published: Jan. 21, 2021

The Refugee Speakers Bureau is a collective of current and former refugees who wish to share their lived experiences with the public to create greater awareness of the global refugee population.  The Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau is an organization that is led by community members affiliated with the resettlement agencies in Denver; ECDC/African Community Center, International Rescue Committee, Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains, and the Colorado Refugee Services Program. Multiple bureau speakers are also students on the Auraria Campus, including a CU Denver student majoring in Ethnic Studies and Psychology. Please consider how these voices might contribute to your courses.
