Diana Tomback’s Expertise Comes to the Fore as Whitebark Pine is Considered for Protection

The many years of Biology Professor Diana Tomback’s research got recognition last month when the whitebark pine was selected for possible protection under the Endangered Species Act. If the proposal is approved, whitebark pine would become listed as a “threatened” species under the ESA. Additionally, she’s been asked to weigh in on a variety of other tree based issues.
