April 3 - Dr. Christina Alba presents: "Quantifying plant diversity along an urban greenway: A unique approach combining botanical collections with ecological transects"
Urban greenways represent ecologically distinct habitat types within a larger, more highly developed land use matrix. In this time of rapid habitat loss, such areas can provide refugia for plants and wildlife. In this seminar Alba will describe a unique approach taken by Denver Botanic Gardens researchers to describe plant biodiversity along the 71-mile High Line Canal greenway. Everyone is welcome to join the seminar remotely.
