Kristin Kilbourn and Colleagues Receive $3.375 Million in Renewed Funding for the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network

Fifty-three cancer researchers from eight different academic institutions around the country (and their federal agency partners) met in Chapel Hill on January 27 and 28 to launch the next five years of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN). Kristin Kilbourn, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, will serve as a co-investigator on the project. Kilbourn was elected to serve as the national co-chair for the mental health and wellness working group, and will serve on the survivorship working group.
