Masterpieces Made Visible: Educational Dignity, Social Dreaming, and the Colorado Constitution

CU Denver is pleased to present the second annual Distinguished Faculty Lecture, to be given by Dr. Manuel Espinoza, Associate Professor in the School of Education & Human Development.

What might it mean for all students in public schools to be treated as "dignity-bearing" persons? What does it mean to dream socially? Along with members of the Right to Learn (R2L) undergraduate research collective, Dr. Manuel Espinoza explores the origins and meanings of dignity in relation to education. As a remedy for addressing historical inequalities, the idea of amending the "education clause" of the Colorado constitution is introduced.

Join us for an evening with Dr. Espinoza, followed by a public reception from 6:30-7:30pm with light refreshments.  Lecture RSVP's requested.
