Amy Wachholtz, Clinical Health Psychology Director and Associate Professor of Psychology, recently received a NIH – HEAL Initiative Grant award. Wachholtz is co-PI on the project: Enhancing Exercise and Psychotherapy to Treat Comorbid Addiction and Pain for Improving Adherence to Medication Assisted Treatment in Opioid Use Disorders. This research is part of an effort to improve treatment approaches for patients struggling with opioid use disorder and chronic pain.
