Free and open to the public Q&A, book signing, & reception to follow: ALEXANDER CHEE is the author of the novels Edinburgh and The Queen of the Night, and the essay collection How To Write an Autobiographical Novel, all from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. He has won a 2003 Whiting Award, a 2004 NEA Fellowship in prose, and a 2010 MCCA Fellowship, as well as residency fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the VCCA, Civitella Ranieri, and Amtrak. How to Write an Autobiographical Novel has been named a Best Book of 2018 by New York Magazine, The Washington Post, Publishers Weekly, NPR, and Time Magazine, and is a finalist for the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay. Chee teaches English and Creative Writing at Dartmouth College.
