Philosophy Research Assistant Professor Mark Bauer’s new article "Ahistorical Teleosemantics: An Alternative to Nanay," was recently published in The Southern Journal of Philosophy (2017, 55, 158-76). In addition, Bauer is presenting the paper "Nonfunctional Semantics in Plants," at the Southwestern Philosophical Society Conference in Waco, Texas, on Nov 3-5. At the end of the semester, Bauer will offer a 5-week workshop called "Advanced Analytical Thinking" for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows (spaces are still available) on the Anschutz Medical Campus, sponsored by the NIH's Common Fund’s initiative to Broaden Experiences in Scientific Training (BEST) Program.
The Plaza Building will remain closed through Jan. 1, 2025.
Faculty and staff may retrieve items and use copy machines in preparation for finals week with Campus ID badges through the door on the Southwest side across from King Center. Additionally, the Auraria Health Center (link: https://healthcenter1.com) is continuing to operate at a reduced capacity.
