Degree Requirements  

• UCDAccess: Log in to your student portal to register for classes and access your degree audit tools

• Degree Audit Tools: Check your degree progress, plan for future semesters, and review your transfer evaluation  

• Degree Maps: Find information regarding degree requirements and major department contacts  

• CLAS Course Highlights: Courses to help you build your class schedule to fit CORE and CLAS degree requirements.

• CU Denver CORE: Course options to satisfy your CU Denver course requirements.

• CLAS Graduation Requirements: Details of the CLAS graduation requirements in addition to CORE and major requirements. . 

Transferring Credit 

• Claiming Credits: Submit official transcripts and scores to claim credits earned through AP/IB/CE/Transfer coursework as well as CLEP or military experience   

• Temporary Prerequisite Override: Request registration for a class that requires a prerequisite not yet transferred in.

• Transfer Course Evaluation Request: Submit documentation to help TATeam@UCDenver.edu evaluate your potential transfer courses.

Placement Tests
Take the following placement tests (if needed) to register for the appropriate courses based on your scores. 

• ALEKS: Math placement (check with your advisor or the degree map for your major to see if you need to take the ALEKS exam)  

• GCAT: General Chemistry Readiness Assessment (recommended if you plan to take CHEM 2031 & 2038)  

• Language Placement Exams: Modern Language placement for French, German, and Spanish
