We offer a variety of services and resources for students at our Learning Commons location. Students have access to our reference library, including guides to writing a thesis or dissertation, style manuals, grammar handbooks, composition textbooks, and more. We also offer a wide selection of handouts that provide a quick overview of topics such as paragraph structure, literature reviews, commas, and more. In addition to individual sessions, the Writing Center also provides free workshops where students can learn about various writing concepts, such as thesis statements and revision strategies, and participate in activities to develop their writing skills in a group setting.

Need a quiet place to write? Want to ask a quick question or two? Join us for Open Table in room 1213 (Mt. Lincoln) in the Learning Commons. No appointments necessary. All you have to do is say hi, sign-in, and maintain a peaceful learning space.
