Janine is an editor, jazz singer, actor, human-and-plant mother, and word nerd. She stumbled into writing center work while earning her masters degree in music at the University of Denver and found that she loved working with student writers. She is passionate about helping everyone she works with discover their own unique voice on the page. Janine spent over a decade writing about dance and the performing arts for local and national publications and currently can be seen around town singing in choirs and with her Rhythm trio. When she's not working, she bakes and bikes and plays word games obsessively.
