
Dr. Rebecca Richey is one of Colorado’s first prescribing psychologists, dedicated to empowering women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals through compassionate, evidence-based care. Dr. Richey offers an integrative approach that includes medication management, psychedelic therapy, and psychological testing. Dr. Richey is Master’s-prepared in Business Administration and is triple-licensed in the mental health field, holding Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Social Work, and Certified Addiction Counselor licenses in Colorado.
She completed a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Indianapolis. She did her residency in South Tucson, AZ, and postdoctoral fellowship at University of Colorado, Department of Psychiatry’s Behavioral Health and Wellness Program. She was previously on faculty in the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine (CUSOM) as the Director of Behavioral Health for the Women’s Integrated Services in Health Clinic and the Director of Didactics for the CUSOM Psychology Internship Program before co-founding Solstice Psychology. Dr. Richey is passionate about advocacy and leadership, as she is a Past President of the Colorado Psychological Association and a former Chair for the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Early Career Psychologists.
