Hello! I am a full time instructor for the University of Colorado Denver (UC) psychology department. My typical courses are Cultural Diversity, Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Human Development. I am an Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) certified instructor and I’m passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion curriculum development for university instructors. I am currently pursuing clinical psychologist licensure and just completed post doctoral training at the University of Colorado Denver Psychology Clinic where I supervised the clinical health doctoral students. I am passionate about continuing to develop more integrated and empathic cultural competency trainings for mental health care providers that are founded in mutual empathy and relational courage. I have a private psychotherapy practice and as a clinician I am engaged in deeper learning about how to integrate psychedelic treatment into clinical practice at both the individual and collective level. As a therapist my clinical background is rooted in depth psychological approaches that include, relational and strength based healing with a focus on couples and relational trauma. Outside of the psychology world I can be found with my dog Zoe exploring the great Rocky Mountains.
