Internship and Volunteer Opportunity - Breslin Campaign

Published: Nov. 11, 2025

US Senate Campaign Internship & Volunteer Opportunity

Political Science Professor Karen Breslin is running for the U.S. Senate — and she’s building a people-powered campaign to bring courageous, community-based leadership to Washington.

Her campaign is now accepting credit-based and volunteer interns for Spring 2026. Students will work directly with experienced organizers and get hands-on experience with every aspect of grassroots campaigning — especially Colorado’s caucus and assembly process, where everyday Coloradans help decide who makes the ballot.

We’re looking for motivated students interested in:

  • Field Organizing: Learn how to recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers across the state.

  • Communications & Digital Media: Help manage social media, write updates, and tell the campaign’s story online.

  • Research & Policy: Assist with issue research and briefing materials for town halls and events.

  • Campaign Events and Community Engagement: Support local events, campus outreach, and caucus trainings.

Ideal for students studying political science, communications, sociology, public policy, or related fields — but open to all majors passionate about democracy and civic engagement.

Start date: Flexible- Immediate volunteer help needed;  November–December onboarding for Spring semester interns and volunteers.

Location: Primarily remote, with in-person opportunities in Denver and surrounding areas.

To apply, send cover letter, resume and areas of interest to Info@BreslinforColorado.com Attention: Lisa Chollet
