The ADC is looking for motivated interns and volunteers to help build an exciting campaign to protect America's Arctic. As interns, students will help to build grassroots power and work with volunteers, local organizations, and participate in environmental advocacy. Over the next several months, they will be organizing community events, working with the media, collecting petition signatures and photo petitions, and building a broad coalition of local groups.
Volunteers can help this effort once or on a regular basis this fall! This is a great way to make an impact for the planet while building advocacy skills.
Interns will lead and assist with a wide variety of campaign tasks. Good verbal and writing skills are important as interns will recruit and train volunteers, and lead meetings. Applicants should be willing to devote ~10 hours per week to campaign work, but schedules can be adjusted to accommodate class, work, and personal preferences.
