Professor Karen Sugar is a specialist on gender studies and women's issues. She frequently teaches courses relating to the politics of gender, women's rights, social justice, and more. Dr. Sugar founded the Women's Global Empowerment Fund (WGEF) while studying as a graduate student at CU Denver.
