Internship Opportunity Annoucement from Monica Martinez's campaign team:

We are looking for dedicated field interns to join Monica Martinez’s campaign for Denver City Council At-Large and commit at least 20-25 hours per week to fieldwork leading up to the upcoming At-Large Special Election. Learn more about Monica here: https://www.monica4council.com/

The internship runs from September through the end of November and offers class credit, mentorship, and a letter of recommendation. This is a unique opportunity for students and young professionals who are passionate about political campaigns and the future of Denver to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in grassroots organizing and electoral politics while working directly on a competitive local campaign.

 

Field work includes: 

-Conduct door-to-door canvassing to promote Monica's campaign and engage with voters

-Work to hit weekly canvass goals regarding outreach, including but not limited to (doors knocked, and canvasses launches, lit drops)

-Provide staff daily/weekly updates regarding voter contact, recruitment, and progress on weekly goals.

-Work with campaign staff to implement campaign goals in line with the candidate’s vision and our organizational values.

-Help distribute yard signs

-Volunteer Recruitment

-support phone bank and text bank efforts

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get their start in politics and gain hands-on experience. No prior experience is required.
