Manny Rutinel for Congress seeks motivated college students or recent graduates to contribute to our field and finance operations.
The fellowship is designed to provide education about working on political campaigns, including hands-on training, and is scheduled to work around your academic calendar.
Time commitment
10+ hours a week for field
20+ hours a week for finance
Stipend
Compensation dependent on weekly hours and start date

In person, Colorado's 8th Congressional District
Time frame
Fellowship will extend from August to November (later starts are possible)
RESPONSIBILITIES - Field Fellow
As a field fellow, you will work to complement campaign staff efforts to conduct voter outreach, organizing initiatives, and other activities critical to advancing the campaign’s goals.
● Phone banking
● Door-to-door canvassing (this will be a large part of your role)
● Staffing campaign events
● Building community relationships
● Representing the campaign across the district
RESPONSIBILITIES - Finance Fellow
As a finance fellow you will collaborate with finance staff to conduct donor outreach, donor research, data management, and other activities critical to advancing the campaign’s goals.
● Dialing for dollars
● Preparing call lists
● Managing a database
● Thanking donors
● Representing the campaign across the district
WHAT YOU'LL GET OUT OF IT
● Stipend (Between 100-400 dollars weekly, depending on weekly hours)

● You'll learn more about working on Democratic campaigns in Colorado’s most competitive Congressional district.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Age 18 or older
● College student or looking to make a career change
● Passionate about civic engagement
● Friendly and outgoing
● Organized and reliable
● Able to work in person in CO's 8th District
● Driver's license and transportation
● Access to a computer and phone
