On February 18th, 2026, the Molly Brown House Museum invited UCD Professor Jim Walsh and other scholars to share stories and information about the exhibit. They explored the history of the Irish in Colorado and the lasting impacts they left behind, especially in the mining industry, the eight-hour workday, stronger safety, and livable wages. The event, sponsored by History Colorado, was created by a team of UCD students and held at the Healy House for 2 1/2 hours before being moved and displayed at the Molly Brown House.
A large congratulations to everyone involved with this project!
