Dr. James Walsh is the reason for the establishment of the Leadville monument commemorating immigrant Irish workers in the 1800s.
The Denver Gazette has posted an article highlighting a new Denver exhibit “Unearthed: Voices of Leadville’s Shanty Irish" to honor the Irish workers who helped develop Leadville.
The exhibit will open Wednesday, February 18, at the Molly Brown House Museum in Denver
