Professor Dr. Michael Berry of the University of Colorado Denver, was recently quoted in Politico on the ongoing Congressional battle over the USDA’s reorganization plans. Congress has threatened to block the closure of key research facilities like the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, but the Trump administration has dismissed these efforts as unconstitutional. Dr. Berry, said “Presidents of both parties have argued that this type of oversight is unconstitutional,".
