Daniel Torrez-Diaz, a Political Science student, was chosen to present his research to the University of Colorado Foundation Trustees, which included CU President Saliman, UCD Provost Marrongelle, and UCD Chancellor Christensen. Daniel has been working since the Fall of 2024 on collecting a more definitive list of those who died and went missing during the 1921 Pueblo Flood, using primary source databases such as the Colorado Historic Newspaper Archive and Ancesty.com to determine how many of those on the missing lists ended up surviving the flood. Daniel is also one of the first PSCI students conducting research for the new Colorado Labor Education Collaborative, paid through the Eureca office.
