If you have earned a GPA of 3.65 or better, great work and congratulations! You are eligible to graduate with Political Science Honors!
Earning honors will require you to also prepare an honors thesis, under the direction of a Political Science faculty member, and to present your work to all our faculty. Interested students who will be graduating in the Spring should start planning their honors thesis. You will need to identify a honors thesis topic—many students choose to expand upon a paper they have already written in a previous class, or to focus their capstone course work on preparing an honors thesis. To help you in this process, you can begin by reaching out to any faculty member you might want to work with, or to Professor Bassem Hassan (Bassem.hassan@ucdenver.edu), our undergraduate advisor who coordinates the honors program.
