Beginning in June of 2026, PSCI Dept will offer a study abroad course in Ireland.
Entitled, "Beyond the Pale: Exploring Ireland's Rural West" we will be based in Westport, County Mayo with a short stint in Glencolmkille, Donegal. Students will study how Irish history such as the Great Hunger, Independence, the Irish Civil War, the Troubles, and the Good Friday Peace Agreement have shaped modern Ireland. Students will spend two days of the program studying the Gaelic language at the Oideas Gael cultural center in Donegal.
