We are pleased to announce an opportunity for our own students to become published authors with Release Peace, an international journal dedicated to conflict prevention through understanding and breaking cycles of armed violence.
Our CU Denver Political Science Department has developed a collaboration with Release Peace which will provide several of our students an opportunity to publish this year! The magazine is reserving several article slots for students of CU Denver Political Science or International Studies. You will receive editorial support as you develop your idea and your short article (1000 words or less). This is a great opportunity for developing your writing skills and building your resume. As the magazine covers a broad range of topics (history, international affairs, culture, society, and much more), you can propose your own idea and discuss it with Release Peace’s editors. The magazine is mostly read by professionals working in policymaking, NGOs, or think tanks. This can therefore be a unique opportunity to start making a name for yourself!
