Headshot of Jim WalshDr. Jim Walsh's upcoming Summer course explores the history, current status, and emerging developments in U.S. labor law. Students will examine how labor law structures worker organizing and collective bargaining efforts, with a focus on labor/management relations in such processes as contract administration, workplace anti-discrimination efforts, and labor organizing rights. The course will also explore new developments in labor law, such as its relationship to social media usage and independent contracting.

This fully remote course will meet on Monday evenings from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. To enroll, please select "Extended Studies" as the campus option in your student portal.
