We're excited to announce that the Political Science Department's newest faculty member, Dr. Vanessa Navarro-Rodriguez of UC Berkely, will be teaching her first seminar this Fall 2025! In PSCI 4235, students will learn about the political and economic development of Latin America. Dr. Navarro-Rodriguez's course will explore this topic through the lens of colonization, land tenure, foreign investment, authoritarianism, militarism, social and revolutionary movements, human rights, and democratization.
