
The Weil Legal Innovators Program is looking for participants!
Supported by the international law firm Weil, Gotshal, & Manges LLP. the Weil Legal Innovators Program is a pre-law fellowship offering incoming law students admitted to one of WLI's 13 partner law schools the chance to defer their first year of law school and work full-time at leading nonprofit organizations.
For the 2025-2026 cycle of the program, there are 16 jobs being offered through 10 nonprofit partners, including a Program Associate role at World Wildlife Fund on their Native Nations team. You will assist the Native Nations team with a variety of subjects ranging from policy research to engagement with U.S.-based Native American Tribes and communities. This hybrid role, is based in Washington D.C., and involves supporting policy research and Tribal engagement, managing the Tribal bufalo Lifeways Collaboration to promote Tribal buffalo herds, exploring conservation tools on Tribal lands, and expanding WWF's Sustainable Ranching Initiative (SRI).
Each innovator will receive a $60,000 salary with benefits, a $10,000 law school scholarship, professiomal development, mentorship opportunities, and much more!
Applications open annually in the Fall/Winter and close in March.
