Are you thinking of starting your final master's thesis or project? Have you already begun? Please join us for our Graduate Student Project Roundtable!
At this event, students will:
- Be fed pizza, soft drinks and cookies
- Learn about the process of writing and defending your final graduate project
- Answer any and all questions (like what "defend" actually means – don't worry, it's just a presentation, not an interrogation!)
- Gain insight from political science alumni who have been through the process
- Connect with peers & learn from each other's shared experiences
This student-focused event is the perfect opportunity to share wisdom and ask questions about finishing your master's degree. The goal is for fellow students to get to know and support each other (though your graduate directors, Betcy and Robin will also be there to support you). And don't worry, you don't have to prepare anything, or make any presentations at the roundtable! You will only be asked to share a 90-second or less description of your project (if you have one). The rest will be a structured circle discussion.
The roundtable will be held on Wednesday, February 12 from 5 PM to 6:30 PM in the Boettcher Conference Room of the Student Commons Building, 1201 Larimer Street (ACAD 1401, first floor, room just past the elevators).
All students should have received an outlook invite where we are tracking RSVPs, but if you can't accept the invite, please RSVP to Robin at robin.kniech@ucdenver.edu.
Contact your Graduate Director for more information: Betcy.Jose@ucdenver.edu / Robin.Kniech@ucdenver.edu.
