We are so excited to welcome Dr. M.D. Kinoti to our department to teach PSCI 4808: Strategies of Peacebuilding for the Spring 2025 semester. Dr. Kinoti is a Professor of Nonprofit/NGO management and the Program Director of the Master of Nonprofit Management and the Master of Sustainable Development Practice at Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
In his words, Kinoti states, "I am so excited to teach the Strategies of Peacebuilding course because it addresses a critical global need for skilled practitioners today. In our increasingly interconnected world, there is a rising demand for peacebuilders who can effectively navigate complex social conflicts and advocate for sustainable solutions. This course covers the theories and practices of peacebuilding and encources students to examine conflicts from multiple perspectives. By equipping future leaders with effective peacebuilding skills,we are fostering a new eneration of professionals committed to creating lasting peace and stability in communities worldwide. I look forward to guiding students as they develop the expertise needed to make a meaningful impact in peacebuilding.
