We are proud that the work of our faculty and students regularly has positive, real-world impact on not only local communities, but also nationally and even internationally. That is why we are extremely excited to share the work of Dr. Betcy Jose, whose expertise directly led to nearly 100 Afghan refugees receiving asylum in the United States! Dr. Jose provided a memorandum in support of asylum applicants in Vermont attesting to the devastating political and security situation in Afghanistan. These applicants have thus far experienced a 100% success rate with the help of her memorandum, and it has reportedly been widely circulated nationally as well.
