As part of their talk, Medah and Mueller showed a clip from a webinar session presented by another CU Denver Prison Education Program alum, Jacob Carlock, which he delivered during the 2024 Incarcerated Scholar’s Conference, an annual event sponsored by the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison.

The inspirational talk positioned CU Denver at the forefront of thinking about academic advising and prison education as interlinked forms of social justice.
