Bio:

Maggie Rosenau (she/they) has over a decade of experience teaching German to language learners of various ages, abilities, and access needs. Their work aims to intervene in debates around the impact of globalization and contribute to broader contemporary initiatives in the humanities working to promote diversity and self-cultivation over profit as a motivation to learn a second language. They are dedicated to supporting students in their journeys to become informed and active globally thinking individuals.

 

Maggie also teaches language classes and is Learning Design Expert at ALTEC, and serves part-time at the Program in Jewish Studies at CU Boulder. They are a member of the DDGC Mutual Aid Action Group, have a working class, refugee/immigrant family background, and are proud to be first gen. Please visit Maggie's website to read more.
