Kristin M. Kilbourn, PhD, MPH, is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver). She also holds an appointment in the Division of General Internal Medicine in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado.  She is an Associate Member of the University of Colorado Comprehensive Cancer Center, and she serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation.   Dr. Kilbourn earned her MPH in Health Promotion at San Diego State University, followed by a PhD in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Miami. Dr. Kilbourn has authored numerous articles for professional journals and has presented her research at several national and international meetings and conferences. She mentors doctoral students at CU Denver where she has an active research lab. She is currently involved in a variety of research projects and intervention programs in psychosocial oncology, palliative care, cardiovascular disease prevention in underserved and rural populations, and psychedelic psychotherapy.
