Dr. Nathan Upham will be our final speaker for the Spring Seminar Series on May 7, 2020. Please see the attached flyer for more information about his seminar.

I will be sending out the CLAS Fiscal Year End Schedule when received, but the purchasing card deadlines will pretty much remain the same as previous years:  

Please plan ahead in regard to purchasing and try not to make any new procurement card purchases between Friday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 30.  Hold off until after July 1 unless critical.  If you do have to make a critical purchase after June 11,  this is fine, but please be sure to import all card transactions to an additional expense report and complete the speedtype reallocation process. This will ensure that transactions will be recorded against the correct speedtype rather than hit the default speedtype. on July 1.

All Expense Reports – 15 May to 14 June procurement card reports, and expense reimbursements are to be submitted to me by Tuesday, June 15 to allow time to meet the CLAS approval deadline. 

If you are unable to meet the approval deadline for FY 21 expense reports, at minimum by the deadline, import all procurement card transactions to an expense report and complete the speedtype allocation process, so all transactions will be recorded against the correct speedtype rather than accrued to the default speedtype.  Complete the allocation process also for ALL other expenses in your Concur that you will not be able to submit in time.

The one-time, non-base-building payments – set to be included with the July 30 paycheck – are for this fiscal year only, and will apply to eligible faculty, research faculty and university staff employees.

Because the payment is non-base-building, it is not added to the employee’s continuing regular salary rate.

The deadline for faculty and staff to make updates to benefits plans and re-enroll in flexible savings accounts (FSAs) is approaching fast. All Open Enrollment health care elections for the 2021-22 plan year must be submitted in the employee portal by 5 p.m. Friday.

The Department is reaching out to faculty asking them to encourage their eligible students to apply for this scholarship.  

University of Colorado leadership on Wednesday announced COVID-19 vaccinations will be required of all students, faculty and staff before the start of the fall 2021 semester.

Qualified employees can save on up to nine credits per academic year (fall through summer) on any CU campus, and their children, spouses and other dependents have several options to save on tuition costs. Dependent options vary based on whether classes are taken on the employee’s campus of employment.

Barnes and Noble College is now operating the bookstore at Tivoli Station. They want to make sure that students have what is needed to complete a successful Summer semester.

Please check online at the bookstore website and copy and paste your campus link on your browser. Then select textbooks, and enter in the course information for the class you are instructing this summer.

If the book information posted is not accurate please contact Lorena Aranda at TM8392@BNCOLLEGE.COM and update her to what is missing or not correct.
