According to CDPHE data, people who have received booster shots are 2.4 times less likely to get COVID-19 and 3.3 times less likely to be hospitalized with COVID-19 than vaccinated people.
The Health Center at Auraria is offering free COVID-19 booster shots. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is NOT available at the Health Center. However, the CDC has approved mix and match protocols that permit the use of either Moderna or Pfizer vaccine as an acceptable booster for those who initially received the J&J vaccine. All Colorado adults are eligible to receive booster shots. However, you must have received your second dose of Moderna or Pfizer at least six months ago or your J&J vaccine at least two months ago.
